Top left guys > Jonas [bodyguard who ignites on fire and burns his clothes off in the process] and Locke [the jovial annoyance who will hit on anything that moves without being serious].
Top right girls > scarred woman is the mother of Locke/Key who after an 'accident' was locked in the basement of a research lab with many different forms of security between her and freedom. put there by her husband. Key is the gal with a boner for science. She doesn't form friendships easily because holy shit science oh man that's a sexy atom.
Baaaasically, Key is a high-class researcher person who is issued body guards by her father in order to prevent an accident like what happened to their mom. Jonas just so happens to be the body guard on duty when some lesser villains attack a fundraiser and target Key. ALSO is the one who just so happens to save Locke and then become the butt of all jokes from then on.
